About
We run a social supermarket, re-use centre and redistribution network in Somers Town, a multi-deprived ward. We partner with stores to collect their surplus food and redistribute 5tons per month to 80 local househoids, 1 after-school club, 11 local hostels, 1 faith group with a value of £15,000 redistributed and reduction in avoidable carbon emissions. Residents volunteer 1.5hrs every week to access a social supermarket shop with a value of circa £40. We also recirculate pre-loved clothing through 1 library, 2 nurseries, 1 secondary school and inside our 'Room of Things'. We are a community benefit society.
