InUse ReUse was founded on a local need to resolve the discarding of pallets/crates within Brixton market; working with Lambeth environmental department, we manage and redistribute pallets back to supplies, recycling end-of-life wood at recycling plants and find ways we can upcycle pallets for indoor & outdoor furniture projects.
Over the last few years, InUse ReUse, based in Loughborough junction, has taken significant strides in the environmental and circular economy. We have had the privilege of working on public realm projects and increasing recycling outputs within the Borough via upcycling pallets and wood waste from the Brixton market. Boateng (Founder) had a background in leisure facilities, working at Archbishop Park for Lambeth Council leisure contractor Better. With a master's in sports management and on-the-ground experience in the sports/leisure space, it’s an experience I value significantly.
Dennis founded InUse- ReUse as a response to finding alternative ways for the redistribution of discarded wooden pallets in Brixton Market. A project which initially started as a pilot scheme with Lambeth environmental department has led the start-up to be an approved supplier since November 2018. From these humble beginnings, InUse-ReUse has evolved to now offer solutions across a much-extended life cycle of timber, with a prime focus on pushing materials up the waste hierarchy.
