In-Use Reuse Lambeth CIC is committed to promoting sustainability in the construction and DIY sectors. We partner with construction companies to collect surplus materials and reintroduce them to the market via our store and online platform. In collaboration with Community Repaint, we also resell remanufactured paint, turning disposed paint into high-quality, eco-friendly DIY materials.
A key part of our mission is to bring awareness and availability of remanufactured paint into the London market. While Community Repaint has established sites on the outskirts of London, we are pioneering efforts to make these sustainable paint solutions accessible within London itself. Through this, we aim to create a greener, more sustainable future for the city and beyond.
Our journey started from a local initiative where we set up to recycle pallets and wood waste within Brixton Market in the Lambeth borough. This pilot scheme has led us over the last few years to take significant strides in the environmental and circular economy space.
We have had the privilege of working on public realm projects and increasing wood recycling outputs within the Lambeth Borough via upcycling pallets and wood waste.
As we pivot our business model, our new project is to create a reclaimed building merchant with an e-commerce platform, which enables consumers to purchase reclaimed materials which have been sourced via surplus materials generated from construction sites and eco-friendly suppliers.
We have partnered up with Community Repaint and have become a member of the network to support the redistribution of surplus paint. After discussion with the team, we have proposed developing a model which enables us to introduce and increase the awareness of remanufactured paint in London, as the brand doesn't have a footprint in the London market.
