We’re powered by 100% renewable energy and grow our restaurant quality lettuce all year round in our clean, climate-controlled vertical farm in Kent. No downpours or harvesting staff shortages will stop our greens growing – for our plants, it’s a Mediterranean spring day every day. Our leaves stay fresher for longer in the fridge. Less food and money wasted = happy customers and a win for the planet.
Our positive Impact is at the heart of how we do business. I am responsible for leading GrowUp to put that into practice. Measuring, monitoring, and improving our environmental and social performance as an industry leader in sustainable fresh produce production in the UK.
I am also a partner in my family sheep farm in southeast Scotland.
I’m a highly driven climate & social impact entrepreneur having previously worked in change management consultancy. I’m the co-founder of GrowUp Farms, a London-based Controlled Environment Production (CEP) farming business with a focus on commercial-scale hydroponic vertical farms.
We grow sustainable food for a local market using vertical growing techniques in a completely controlled environment. We build a resilient supply chain for retailers & wholesalers by addressing some of the fundamental flaws in our agricultural system.
