GoodMine is a a female led startup founded in April 2021. We are working towards a world where manufactured household goods stay in use for as long as possible, thereby reducing waste going to landfill.
With grant awards from Islington council and Innovate UK we have created a platform that helps consumers part with their unwanted used goods sustainably by connecting them to the right players in the reuse, recycling and upcycling sectors through a free app. Our pilot in Islington will be launching in the Autumn 2023.
We work with organisations with aligned interests in waste prevention and who want to empower their local communities to take action towards net zero through adoption of our app.
I am an ex-JPMorgan investment banker with experience in the third sector, circular economy training and a CFA Certificate in ESG investing. I believe we can prevent waste at scale by creating more efficient networks and collecting data; sustainable actions need to be easy and accessible for all if we want to achieve our net zero goals.
