About
64% of 16–24-year-olds in Britain have bought clothes they’ve never worn, meanwhile textiles production releases more greenhouse gas than all international flights and maritime shipping combined. CloSh helps people to unlock the full potential of their wardrobes, saving them money and reducing their environmental footprint. As a social app, it brings friends and local communities together to make borrowing, lending, and co-owning clothes easy, organised, and fun.
CloSh displaces the demand for new clothes by providing a one-stop platform to browse all the items friends are happy to share. The app keeps tracks of who is borrowing what and allows users to set security deposits and leave anonymous ratings. It also shows users the re-wear count for each of their own items and offers premium wardrobe sustainability analytics, such as the users’ most/least worn items.
