We believe that Circular Design can save the world.
By using waste materials to make new products that are then fully recyclable, we can reuse the same materials over and over, closing the circle. This drastically reduces CO2 emissions, stops consumption of the planet’s precious resources, and eliminates pollution; the three core challenges humanity faces.
After 20 years at the coalface of Circular Design, working to its principles way before it was ever a ‘thing’ we’ve learnt that it can, will and already is changing the world for the better. It’s a workable solution at a time when the world desperately needs solutions. Our experience over the years has taught us that there are three key areas that will have the biggest impact in driving a sustainable future. With over 15 years experience building brands in the drinks industry, Adam left London to join the team at Circular&Co. with a passion for the outdoors and protecting our precious ocean, making the world a better place for his two young sons.
Adam works alongside Dan to take our latest innovations to market and has spent the last two years developing our Circular Returnable Cup solution. He has led the project through two years of R&D and 12 months of field testing across a variety of pilots and settings. The result is a cup that is uniquely and specifically designed for commercial return+reuse. The attention to detail makes the transition from single to returnable as pain free as possible.
Through his deep understanding of the challenges currently facing the global return+reuse landscape, along with his global network of partners, innovators, and companies striving for change; he is the ideal person to lead us forward in this space and support your project.
Circular&Co. were founded in a garden shed in 2003 by ex Dyson designer and product inventor Dan Dicker. After a successful career in landlocked Wiltshire, Dan followed his desire to move to the coast and live just a short walk from the sea.
Dan had become disheartened with how the industry wasn’t utilising waste materials and spotted an opportunity to do things differently. Circularity wasn’t an established concept then, but Dan was about to tap into an ethos now regarded as a solution to our planet’s waste.
The plan was to extend the life of waste materials and use them to create products that last as long as possible. At the end of their lives, these products are recyclable so that the cycle can continue.
Since then, Dan and his team have moved out of the garden shed, and their award-winning products are available across the globe.
