Agreka Build's unique approach involves collaborating with farmers to transform agricultural waste into innovative, green construction materials. By repurposing waste into valuable resources, we aim to reduce environmental impact, support rural economies, and lead the transition towards a net-zero, circular economy in agriculture and construction.
Our flagship product WHEATEX - Thermal & Acoustic Insulation Fibreboard is the world’s first circular bio-based insulation board made from 100% agricultural straw. Offering thermal and sound insulation, as well as enhanced fire and mould resistance, WHEATEX is a sustainable alternative to conventional synthetic insulation materials and can be recycled or composted at the end of its useful life.
My Linh Nguyen is a social entrepreneur with a decade of experience in social innovation, sustainability, and circular manufacturing. She is the co-founder of Agreka Build, a UK-based climate enterprise transforming agricultural waste into high-performance, circular construction materials.
Before founding Agreka Build, My Linh led an award-winning innovation incubator in Vietnam and worked with UNDP Asia-Pacific to support agricultural and grassroots communities through youth-driven social innovation. Growing up in her family’s 40-year-old brick manufacturing business, she developed a deep understanding of materials and local industry, which now informs her mission to decarbonise construction and empower rural economies.
Passionate about activating leadership potential in others, My Linh brings creativity, curiosity, and human connection to every endeavour she leads.
My Linh holds a Master of Arts and Science in Interdisciplinary Problems & Methods from the London Interdisciplinary School and a Bachelor of Commerce from RMIT University.
