About
The Bridal Edition is a luxury bridal fashion business built around circular economy principles. We specialise in extending the life of high-end bridalwear through resale, rental and garment reworking, offering a refined alternative to the traditionally linear bridal industry.
Our core activity includes the resale of preloved and never-worn designer wedding gowns, alongside the rental of trend-led bridal fashion and accessories for key wedding moments such as engagements, hen parties, civil ceremonies, wedding mornings, second looks and honeymoons. By keeping garments in active circulation, we significantly increase wear-per-item and reduce demand for newly manufactured products.
A key part of our offering is delivering a ‘like-new’ bridal experience. Every item is professionally cleaned, carefully inspected and styled to the same standards expected in a traditional luxury bridal boutique. We focus on a modern, editorial-led bridal experience that helps brides achieve their dream look without compromise, often without even realising they are making a more sustainable choice.
We tackle the environmental impact of the bridal and occasionwear sector, which is characterised by high resource use, low garment utilisation and significant textile waste. Rather than producing new garments, we focus on maximising the value already embedded in existing pieces, reducing waste, carbon emissions and material consumption associated with new production.
Our physical London studio plays a critical role in our circular model. By enabling brides to experience resale and rental items in person, we reduce the need for multiple online purchases, home try-ons and returns, a major contributor to fashion-related emissions. In-person fittings also ensure better garment selection, higher satisfaction and longer-term use.
Circularity is embedded throughout our operations. All of our beautiful pieces are preloved, sample or rental-based. We prioritise reuse of original designer packaging, recycled or compostable materials where required, and specialist garment care to extend product life. Where items show signs of damage or wear, we partner with local makers to repair, rework or redesign garments, allowing pieces that might otherwise be written off to re-enter circulation in renewed forms.
Alongside making our own operations circular, we enable others to participate in the circular economy, providing a full-service resale pathway for individuals and reframing circular bridal fashion as a premium, aspirational choice.
