Nanomox is a clean-tech company that turns metal-rich industrial residues and e-waste into high-value, low-carbon inorganic materials. Using our patented Oxidative Ionothermal Synthesis (OIS®) technology, we recover metals from streams such as spent alkaline batteries and steelmaking by-products and upgrade them into advanced materials that can directly replace mined equivalents.
Our first product is a high-purity zinc oxide tailored for demanding applications like cosmetics and specialty chemicals. The same platform can also produce other key materials such as magnesium oxide (MgO), magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)₂), copper oxide (CuO) and more, all derived from secondary sources rather than virgin mining.
We work with two sides of the value chain: companies that use inorganic materials and want low-carbon, circular inputs, and companies that produce metal-containing waste and want to reduce their environmental impact by turning those wastes into value instead of a cost. Our materials are not just lower carbon; their unique properties have the potential to improve existing products and enable entirely new technologies and formulations.
