ORNA, [Optimised Reused Natural Assets] is a forward-thinking material re-use company, designing and delivering circular re-production processes that turn everyday waste materials into new, low-carbon products. By up-cycling timber waste from commercial and domestic environments we can change the perception of what waste is and re-imagine how to dispose of/reuse it. In doing so, we reduce carbon emissions, eliminate landfill, and begin the process of creating a business model that creates growth from waste. The first ORNA project is to up-cycle discarded Christmas trees into biodegradable products. We take trees, which otherwise would be burnt or dumped on landfill, and using our simple, effective process transform them into a variety of baubles and packaging for next years celebrations. ORNA’s carbon saving process is patent app pending.
